Wow, I need to step up my Secret of Monkey Island playthrough, I'm never finishing that game it seems.
Wow... awesome. I've been meaning to get these games but didn't feel like paying through their website or buying wii points. Let's hope this catches on and they bring over the Sam and Max and Strong Bad games.
Im playing the pc/mac version right now. Half way through. So far a pretty excellent game, as always for a monkey island game
OMG, these barely play on my 2 year old xp even with low settings, if they can work on the Ipod Touch and Iphone without the faster graphic processor, then I'd be really happy!
I guarantee that they're cranking them down. I've played some Sam and Max games on my laptop which is an XP and is pretty slow sometimes... It can run games like Half-Life and Return to Castle Wolfenstein, but on others it'll just pretty much fall apart. So I think if my laptop can pull it off w/o lag, I think an optimized iDevice version can too.
I second that one. That was by far the best of all of them. There wasn't a better point-and-click game made imo. If they need to port one game, they should port that one. Otherwise, MI2 would be a good idea to do first, and it would make sense since they already did a port of MI1.
With a jailbroken Ipod, Scumm Emulator and a LEGAL copy of the original Curse of Monkey Island....... It's possible and fun! Plays like a dream on a 1g!
Wow, great news! I loved The Secret of MI iphone, was totally addicted to it and finished it using just one hint in the very end. Of course, I'd prefer MI 2 and 3 first, but this is good too.
I can't believe people are falling for this. It is their "Rumor Mine" article. It is completely unfounded and unreliable speculation. This is not happening.
