Crossing from Apple to Android

I did all this pointless research as I wanted to know where my ipad mini/iphone 4s was in terms of equivalence on android, and where ipad mini 2/iphone 5 and all that where those equivalents were. And finally I was looking at the top comparisons, and what's in android boxes.

This website is good: https://www.notebookcheck.net/ARM-Ma....160645.0.html
Using this, and from tiers of 1 to 8 or something, where 8 is the worst, and 1 is the best, and this is in comparison to sort of notebook graphics cards.

Iphone 7 (A10 Fusion GPU) (class 3)
Mali T880 (one of samsung phones uses this is class 3)
New Nvidia Shield TV (Tegra X1) (class 3)
Samsung S7 (Snapdragon 820) (class 4)
Iphone 6 (Power VR GX6450) (class 4)
Razer Forge TV (Snapdragon 805/Adreno 420) (low end Class 4)
Iphone 5(Power VR G6430) (Class 5)
Original Nvidia shield (Tegra 4) (class 5)
Samsung S4 (Snapdragon 800/Adreno 330) (class 5)
Ipad 3 SGX543MP4 (Class 6)
Ipad mini SGX543MP2 (Class 6!)
Basic android box can have a Mali 450(class 6)
Tegra 3 (Class 6)
Snapdragon 600

Whats interesting -2017 article
"Cutting edge mobile processors snapdragon 820/821 could compete with desktop comparisons". And that is evident with the mobile processors approaching class 3 and 4 ranked laptop GPUs.

Im kind of surprised that the shield is so far down. Despite the K1 being relatively old, as Nvidia has been working hard with AAA PC developers to bring games to its Android Devices I would say the shield tablet is still the best choice for Android Gamers with Half life 2, Portal etc

Given how powerful some of the newer phones/tablets are and how well the Nintendo Shield is doing its a shame other companies aren't doing an "nvidia" and working hard with PC developers to get more AAA games across to mobile
