Just thought some of you may like to know that Wayward Souls is today's Amazons AppStore free app of the day. Will add link once I figure it out.

Already have it on iOS, but this is an amazing freebie for Android users. This game is one of the best on mobile.

The thing with Amazon App Store is that allegedly Amazon sets the app price without consent from developer. Rocketcat has never done freebie promotions or even ever discounted their apps post-launch so this Amazon sale seems really inconsistent with developer preferences and seemingly dubious. I don't think anyone is lucky if that is the case.

So basically Amazon decides when stuff has a sale and when it's free??? What??? Does the devoloper get ANY money if they make it free for a day then???

    See...
I don't see any reference to royalties for free apps; but I don't imagine Amazon just gives away money to the developer.

Hm, I have it my iPad, but wouldn't say no to having it on my phone. It still shows as 1.99 on my amazon App Store. Is this sale region specific?

I'm in the uk, maybe at midnight your time it will change.
It's also on sale on the google play store £1.11

I didn't know about the devs having no say in prices on amazon. Does google play operate the same way as it's reduced from £3.33 to £1.11 the last few days. It's unfair that a company can just give away their stuff.

It must just be a uk thing, or Europe.
I've just read the info on the App Store and it's gotten a rough time with review, only 24 reviews and 16 of them are one star only. Mostly from today, Wasn't expecting that, seems that you have to log in to amazons version of gamecentre in order to play.
