We're nearing the release of the Plantraco Carbon Butterfly Simulator.
The Carbon Butterfly is an RC Plane that you can fly in your living room.
It's a great product, it's pretty amazing to fly, you won't want to put it down.

The simulator provides an accurate representation of what it's like to fly the RC plane. You will be able to purchase the actual plane, at a discount, directly from the app.

Here's the first preview of the simulator in action

So, is this an RC app or a real physical plane you control with your phone/device that you buy?

This is an app that lets you fly a simulator based on the real plane.
The real plane ships with the plane, and a controller. It is not controlled by the app. The app is simply a virtual preview of what it's like to fly the real plane.

We've worked out a deal with the company to provide the actual Living Room RC Plane at a discount. They ship to anywhere in the world.

Do you have any info about how long per charge the plane flies and about how sturdy it is?

It weights only 3 grams and has a 7 inch wingspan, this thing is tiny. It's fragile but it's so light that it doesn't really have enough force to break. If it does break, replacement parts can be purchased. It charges in roughly 45 minutes and it will fly for about 15 minutes per charge.

I have a carbon butterfly and it really is a darn good indoor r/c plane. Not as cool looking as the original wooden Butterfly, but MUCH more durable.

Sounds good, what with the charging time and flying time! But I already have a couple of quad helicopters. I'd rather just play with another app at this point, personally. Wish the dev well, though, it might be a cool thing!

The simulator is pretty neat, we've also worked out a deal with Plantraco to offer the plane at a $20 discount if purchased through the app :)
