oh ssh everyone wants to ask this question and this guy had the balls to do it. I commend him on his courage, and for that I respect him. Granted it is unlikely that someone will be nice enough to send him a gift card but at least he tried.

This. dude, I can't believe you started a thread for this. Either you're a really young kid or a really dumb young adult. If you're just a young kid then I guess its ok, but what makes you think anyone is gonna just give a stranger an itunes gift card? That's like walking up to a stranger on the street and just handing them $10-15. I'd actually rather give $15 to a bum, at least I know he'll get a good bite to eat for once or get some booze and numb his anguish for a night.
