We didn't have a lot of success unfortunately. But the Android version is selling much much more. I think it's because it's so hard to be known on iOS!

Btw, if some readers would like to have some promocodes, I have some. Let me know!
I'm sorry to hear you aren't selling well on the AppStore.
It's is one of the few really good Shmup made for touchscreen and isn't a port of an old Shmup, and there's not a lot of good original Shmups on the AppStore.

Any Shmup lover ought to buy this game, it'll blow your socks of!

It supports the iCade by the way.

I always wanted to try this one out, but after playing a whole lot of the dodonpachi games i figured this just wouldnt be as good. That being said i just checked out some clips and this actually looks pretty fun.

Support the developer and buy the game, it's cheap, and you get a great Bullet Hell Shmup!

Two posts up you can read that the game hasn't sold well on iOS, and I guess it's because people don't want to pay as little as a couple of bucks for a great game. Man, I can't even get one cup of coffee for that price at my local coffee shop..

I guess that's why all we get these days is Freemium games...

^Totally agree !

We get tons of freemium games as people simply wont fork out for a game which is a TINY 2 dollars (prepares speech about the 80's for the 100000th time)

Back in the 80's games were often £8, there was a budget range of games from £1.99 but they were often terrible. Plus i was on poor pocket money !

Roll forward years later, kids have more pocket money, expensive gadgets yet seem to want sale after sale and wont fork out £1.99 on a great little game

If we buy these games then the developers will give us sequels, if we dont and the devs hardly make anything then another developer disappears from iOS and thats not good for any of us

Depresses me when people are begging for promo codes and wont simply buy the game when they've just spent a lot of money on an expensive ipad 3 !!!

Okay after playing this for about 90 minutes i now feel guilty for using a promo code because this game is awesome. The art, music and controlls are all top notch but what really makes this game stand out is the way you can switch and upgrade your weapons during a stage. This really adds a whole new layer of fun, and in a way "strategy" to the game. i also didnt feel
like i was playing a Cave game clone at all, though this is what stopped me from buying the game initially. But rest assured it feels totally different and fresh, and thats a hard thing to do for a genre that has so many excellent games. Oh.. and one last thing this game has frikkin' iCade support !! which i didnt even realize until i checked out the options menu after already playing for 30 minutes. I own an iCade and immediately switched to controlling it via iCade and this makes the game even more awesome cause it really works superbly. And this is a feature that even all those overpriced :-P cave games miss. All in all i totally recommend this game to longtime shmup players and newcomers alike and please dont be like me and ask for a promo code. Just spend the $1.99 cause it's totally worth it and you dont have to feel like
an ass afterwards.

Shogun is now a paid app, so we developped a lite version too.
If you would like to test the game, here is the link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/shogun-bullet-hell-shooter/id600028582

Have fun!

(And thanks for all your lovely messages!)

I'm enjoying this one. I was looking for bullet hells for iPhone 5 and this is one of the few, and I find it better than DU2 and even DDP, both pretty confusing.

As a former Touhou player, I like "creal" stuff, not and in both DU2 and DDP, all is pretty confusing.

This said, I'd like to ask dev's to make able playing with my own music. The game, right now, doesn't seem to be multitask, so I can't play my music from the player and also play the game.

Besides that, cool game

PS- Dev's, have you thought on releasing this as a PSP Mini? I'll totally buy this for my psp too!
