Very good speedy game however awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #6 awp69, Nov 2, 2013 So, this didn't go free it went freemium. Hate when devs pull this crap. Bronxsta Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2012 4,698 6 38 http://indiegameenthusiast.blogspot.com/ #7 Bronxsta, Nov 2, 2013 Have you played the game or are you make assumptions based on what someone has said? I know in all the time I played the game, any ads were rare, unless that was changed. And both the App info and dev said the game is free for only a limited time. I wouldn't consider that freemium oooooomonkey Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2011 6,307 0 0 Forge World #8 oooooomonkey, Nov 3, 2013 Last edited: Nov 3, 2013 +1 this is bull I've had this since day one and it didn't start with any adverts when I bought it and now there's full screen adverts every where???? What's going on. I hate it when devs do this to people who paid for the game. There wasn't ads in it the last time I played it a few weeks ago?? One more dev off my purchase list, this really sucks as the game was cool before the adverts. There's a banner ad along the top of the screen too. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #9 awp69, Nov 3, 2013 Well, not sure if it's a "sale" or not but there are definately banner ads even during gameplay. And it wasn't good enough for me to want to plop down $2 to get rid of them (plus the fact that it wasn't right to add them for those who bought the game). robertsze Well-Known Member Patreon Top Tier Oct 20, 2009 531 30 28 http://www.djinnworks.at #10 robertsze, Nov 3, 2013 Ads should only be visible when you get the game when its free. If you got it when it was paid, you should not see any ads, especially not the banner ad. @oooooomonkey: Did you reinstall the game when it was switched to free? oooooomonkey Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2011 6,307 0 0 Forge World #11 oooooomonkey, Nov 3, 2013 Nope I've had the game since day one, never deleted it because I didn't want to lose my progress, but I sure have ads all over the place. tunaVille Well-Known Member Jun 10, 2013 144 0 0 #12 tunaVille, Nov 3, 2013 Last edited: Nov 3, 2013 I got this app right after it was posted, FREE!! there is a huge banner at the top blocking a good amount, preventing site, affecting accurate jumps. Like the game, first experience with this developer, like it or not it's a bait and switch, snake oil style! I don't mind paying $$$ for good games, I do mind cleverly placed adds, and these sales tactics I would have had more respect for Robert Szeleney, if there were truth in this offer. Ok maybe it's not a true Freemium. It's then a sample that is partially playable. NOT FREE On top of all I've written, this game is worth the 2 bucks. It is that good. Great Developer with questionable sales tactics, at best, or he may not understand how some people get agitated when their intelligence is insulted. robertsze Well-Known Member Patreon Top Tier Oct 20, 2009 531 30 28 http://www.djinnworks.at #13 robertsze, Nov 4, 2013 Sorry to hear that, this is rather strange actually. If you bought the game you should of course not have any ads. We will switch back Stickman Downhill to paid in a few days, the Ads should then disappear automatically for you. Sorry about that, we will investigate this. Mr. Charley Well-Known Member Sep 6, 2008 2,633 38 38 #14 Mr. Charley, Nov 4, 2013 But this also means if I'm not misaken that if you did purchase prior to the game going free, if you ever delete and reinstall, you'll have ads... oooooomonkey Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2011 6,307 0 0 Forge World #15 oooooomonkey, Nov 4, 2013 Yeah I'm just avoiding this from now on, I hate these paid to free switches or even switch to ads just while it's free, that means the ads are there already it's just the flick of a switch for the devs which means this was planned all along.
