No, it's not the Unity engine. Custom physics and 3D engine, which have been used in other games as well.
My concern with third party engines is that they usually increase the app's size, and probably include lot of stuff which is not used at all in a specific game. (Actually they must be generic enough in order to be what one expects from an engine. But - unless it's open source -, you cannot customize it at for your game's needs, and just decouple the useless parts.) The 1.0 version of Libra balance is already in the AppStore, but people found it too hard. Therefore I performed some changes, and made the gameplay easier. Hopefully the online highscore system will also be a big plus, and the new scenes are also very convincing.
You will get the update soon, it probably won't take longer then 2 weeks (my apps got approved within 12 days, hope this won't be an exception either ;-)). At least you will notice the difference - I would be interested in your opinion.
