    *Update*
The game went live today! Get it here:
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/f18-pilot-simulator/id742901884?mt=8

    Hi everyone,

We've been working on our F18 Aircraft Carrier Landing Simulator for the past 6 months.

The game uses an advanced version of our Flight Unlimited Engine to provide some fantastic visuals.

Your objective as the pilot of the F/A 18 Hornet is to land on a moving aircraft carrier out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Your landing analysis will be rated and graded on a variety of factors:
    - Vertical Speed (ft/s)
    - Airspeed
    - Touchdown Zone
    - Center line
    - Weight on Wheels:
    - Left (in lbs)
    - Right (in lbs)
    - Nose (in lbs)
    - Glide Slope

More to come soon, here are the first set of screens from a build that was 30% complete, the graphics are not representative of the final product.

We welcome comments and wish lists.

    *Update New Night Mode*

Looks nice , I like having a landing type challenge game reminds me of a game show here in the uk from when I was younger called "krypton factor" one of the rounds they had to land a plane in a simulator. :D

Water in your screenshots look weird, like glass...

Also wondering if there is training for landing on an airfield as training before attempting to land on a carrier, which is much harder. At least they typically are, on PC flight sims...

So how are missions varied? Plane type, weather conditions, time of day, equipment malfunctions, runaway length, etc.?

This is really a true aircraft carrier landing simulator. It may sound like an easy task, but it isn't.

You are rated on your landing and ranked. If you're familiar with the Space Shuttle Landing Sim called F-Sim (amazing game)...it's a similar theme.

A few more new screens. Next week I'll be able to post a video of an actual landing. Stay tuned.

If this is like f-sim then it should be sweet,

Tilt the device for aelerons and elevator.
A slider for the rudder and flaps.
Buttons for landing gear, air brakes and lowering the hook.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.

It'll be similar to F-Sim with one major difference. We're putting an emphasis on the crashes that result from poor carrier landings. Expect some pretty spectacular stuff. You can also upload your replays to YouTube.

    Thanks for the support.
The next flight unlimited is in development but is roughly
    9 months away.

However, a massive update for Flight Unlimited Las Vegas will be
released in a few weeks. New planes and missions!
