Flame shields on but I figure I'd start a topic about awesome and high rates games that you personally either didn't like or just didn't love as much as everyone else. It's about to get hot in here. I'll preface that I love tower defense, rpg, action adventure and many other genres so I'm not just picking on games I don't get into. I don't like racing games so I wouldn't bash a racing game, get it? These are my big 2. 1. Plants vs zombies- ok I know "what?" but I can't lie. I love tower defense games. Kingdom rush, fieldrunners, lovem. This game just bored me and I didn't finish it. Sorry. 2. Infinity blade 2- "omg now u have gone too far!" ok I liked the game, awesome graphics and gameplay. But starting over so many times and pretending it was fresh got stale. I'm not a pro but I'm decent at the game and enjoy similar games. This is an expensive app gathering dust in my folder, not really into it.
If you didnt like the first, why buy the second? Pretty sure it's the cool thing these days to say you don't or didn't like Angry Birds... For its time, it was a good game. Game apps have advanced...
I am a completionist and a sucker for series. So even though I did not enjoy Angry Birds like everyone else did, I couldn't bare looking at my Game Center and not having all of the achievements. I pretty much just stick to MMO and RPG type games but I stick my neck out when a game like Temple Run, or Angry Birds are getting major press and rave reviews.
Sworcery. As much as I like adventure games, fantasy themes and retro pixel art, this just doesn't do for me. Too slow paced and I don't like the sarcastic humor. Edit: Angry birds too. So overrated.
- Doodle Jump Play for 5 minutes, deleted. Just boring. - Angry Birds I never understood the hype. Gaming in its most stupid way. Pull, aim, release, *crash*. Pull, aim, release, *crash*. Rinse and repeat. Perfect if you just had a brain resection. - Fruit Ninja / Veggie Samurai Do I look like a salad bar employee? Just meh. I think it's perfectly ok not to like a game. Nobody needs a flame shield here. Sometimes there are games which you just don't like, no matter what other people say and how hard they try to convince you that the game is good. Games were, are and will be always a matter of taste. And tastes differ, thank God. edit: Never forget: lots of people only like and buy games because of the hype. Deep inside, they hate the game too. Herd instinct, one of the strongest instincts.
Aralon I think most people loved this but it felt totally empty and souless to me. One of the greatest sin a RPG can commit is to not provide enough lore and story to sustain the world especially when there is no character development or any companions like in Aralon. Wandering around doing well designed, complex and meaningful quests that can impact the plot and character relationships is one thing....doing boring fetch quests and menial tasks like cooking, fishing, swimming just for the sake of it is another.
Angry birds Cut the rope.........to be honest I dislike most physics based puzzlers. I find addiction that people have to them is not really an addiction of fun but rather an obsessive compulsive need to get the 3 stars...... Not my idea of a good time.
IB2 Entire Angry Birds franchise, Space was okay Tiny Tower Pocket Planes Aralon Doodle Jump Canabalt
............................ You actually said it........................... I'm coming for you tonight..... Be awake....
Keep in mind it's an old game, I believe it released back in 2010. For that time it was groundbreaking, in fact still is the only RPG of its kind on hat AppStore. Ravensword 2 promises to be superior in every way, though.
