From what I've seen so far, that is correct. While I'm aware that reporting a Game Center problem for this game is kind of absurd, GC does not appear to be working for me after the update. The "Welcome back, ..." popup doesn't appear and the game doesn't log in to the service. I mention it only because I see that there are now a few people on the leaderboard, which seems to track total number of shots. Anyone else notice this?
I purchased the last night. While the game is simplistic in its style and play. I keep playing it. Kinda like a just one more time JSAMI PS. Good developer as I have several other games by him

Having fun with this but I wish you could put top or back spin on the ball, like you can in Flick Golf. This is also a terrific game to play when intoxicated
The blandness and simplicity of this game seems to have lured me in even more. It reminds me of desert bus but golf (if you haven't got desert bus do so now, it's the most heartstopping action filled amazing bus simulator you will ever play)
So, bought this game about a week ago and it had an update a few days ago so I decided to update it and finally give it a go...I get a black screen for an instant then an immediate crash. I've tried uninstalling etc. the game is just broken.
It's working fine for me. Running latest iOS on bigass iPhone 6. I'm actually on my third reinstall/restart in an attempt to improve my 1000 hole Game Center score. For anyone who's followed this thread and/or read the linked article from a few pages back (detailing the devel's intentions when designing and releasing Desert Golfing), I noticed last night that there is now a Desert Golfing clone available called like 2D Golf that is free and adds colors, obstacles, and different courses. Which is hilarious and ironic.
"100 holes, 253 strokes. How much farther does this desert go?" I don't get the Game Center pop up when I load the game, I assume this means that my score won't be saved?
Your score will be saved and recorded on GC Spoiler after completing hole 1000. The GC logo will pop up then. I love this game in a way that's hard to describe. PS One of the AppStore reviews gives the game 2 or 3 stars and complains that after Level 7000, all the holes are flat and easy. That's dedcation/stupidity.
