Really enjoying SPC! It's super fun and cute. Jared and I must be on the same wavelength because I titled my AppStore review as a "Catformer" earlier today and he (coined the term) in the article he just posted about Super Cat. Meow!

I've just finished up a play though of Softlight (second world) and have to agree about the tight controls and overall great design. I love the brilliant colors, sound effects, and variation in music. I've unlocked two of the other characters, but am enjoy playing as the cat for now.

Just downloaded SFC. Anyone know if this has Game Center support? If so I'm gonna have to do the little sign out/in workaround to log in... In the meantime I'm gonna give this a shot.

Hope you love it AKD! I'm really enjoying the missions between levels and the new power ups are cool. Love the teleporting power up. Also, those spiders are cute!

I do really like it! The art and little story are great. I'm only 66% through the first section. So far so good!

Awesome! Some of the stars are a little tricky to find, so I'll have to go back and search them out. The worlds unlock pretty generously with the star counts. Love that you're playing this right now...we haven't hit on anything for awhile...I'm glad you haven't ditched iOS entirely!

This reminds me a lot of one of my old favorites, Kung Fu Rabbit (Bulky Pix / c tools studio). The levels in that game were superb, and the on-screen controls look similar as well. I doubt it's the same folks (ctools is french, veewo looks chinese maybe?), but that is a great game to take inspiration from... and one I wish would get updated for newer phones - it looks like they closed up around 2013, but at least the game still loads.

I say this over and over, but I'm really glad these forums exist - I doubt I'd find gems like this without you all.

As for f2p vs paid... one look at the trailer and you pretty much know you're getting a quality game. I have no problem whatsoever with paying, but I do wonder if the first couple of levels free, then a 1.99 unlock would be a better monetization strategy for the rest of the world? I hope that's what Swelab meant, and there's just a language barrier...

yeah, kung fu rabbit was really good and fun, maybe a little harder... anyway this one is also very enjoyable!

There is one IAP in the premium version, which is for users to unlock the big level when they can't pass certain level.
