Galges (from Daidai and Mtrix) have nice stories.. love stories thou.... and they removed all the sex.. lmao
Avatar. Cool game Minigore has an awesome story, which get more interesting with each update. (by that I don't mean that there's a story mode)
Assassins Creed II is interesting but way to convoluted and confusing. Still- it's detailed and the side movies are pretty nice. I LOVE the Modern Combat: Sandstorm story-everyone seems to have forgotten about this game since BiA2, but I still prefer it to BiA2. EASILY though (and I'm surprised this has not been mentioned) the game with the best story is Myst. Beautiful, suspenseful, intriguing- playing Myst is like reading an interactive book
ya really all pointand click games have great stories. A story is an essential part of a point and click game
I'd say that the game with the best story, which has a very big surprise (I'm not sure it's exactly a twist, though) at the ending, is "Beneath a Steel Sky". It's a pretty short story, but it's really satisfying. I've played through it twice, simply because of its awesomeness. Here's the link: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/beneath-steel-sky-remastered/id331733638?mt=8 It's 2.99, and completely worth it.
I'd have to agree, point and click were never my favorite games, but Beneath A Steel Sky's story was enough to make me play through the entire game. Loved it hahaha. Check it out, even if it's just for the story. However, to throw in another one, Battle For Wesnoth is an amazing game. The story doesn't so much change depending on your choices, but each separate campaign tells a completely different story. Personally one of my favorite turn-based strategy games
any point and click games as above mentioned. Across Age: the best rpg I have played on the idevice. close call with zenonia, but beats it by a hair. The story is touching also, not the usual crap like in inotia 2. Also, the grinding is virtually nonexistent.
