I dont remember anything doing this in a game yet. This isnt just tilt controls... It's gyro, means moving around a lot. Which would usually be worse that tilt, other than the fact that it promotes that as a bit of exercise. NYC #12 collider, Sep 9, 2015 OK, just went through the first level, twice. Once with on-screen controls, then I forced myself to use the gyro. There's a weird bug at the beginning after the tutorial where it won't let you stay on the on-screen controls @LordShad0wz, but there's a pause button where you can switch back, then it sticks. I was kind of hoping for mfi, but no such luck. The on-screen controls work perfectly well, and are a great option, but I really recommend putting the time in to get used to the gyro (if you are able . It adds a bit of an interesting twist (see what I did there?). If you're like me, and you haven't done your yoga in weeks, your arms will get tired fast. What you have to get used to is turning your whole body - I automatically want to "drive" the thing, but it doesn't work like that. If you've ever used 360 Pano you know what I mean. You hold your iPad directly in front of you and turn your whole body to turn the world and face the direction you want to go in. I hated it at first, but now i'm used to it I think it's great. I have to try this on my Aeron later It's insanely free with coins. You will be able to upgrade ships pretty quickly assuming you're halfway decent at this. My first ship upgrade was the dragon. The last few ships you can upgrade as achievements, haven't gone there yet. I'm not super jazzed with the art. The palette has too much going on making it hard to pick out diamonds and checkpoints quickly. The pixel look is a choice, and normally I'm down with that, but in this case there doesn't seem to be a compelling reason for it, unless it's to help increase frame rate. In which case a more cohesive palette would be helpful to offset the hard lines and chunks you inadvertently get with large pixels. There's not a huge sense of speed, but it does crop up on some of the levels. I used to hang-glide, this reminds me a lot of that. You feel speed when you're closer to objects or ground. (or when you're hitting something, bwahahahah! - I never did, but I had to say that, you know you were thinking it!) Some of the longer, twisty levels are getting quite fun. Don't go into this thinking it's Horizon Chase - it is very different, but overall I'm liking it a lot. It is a must to have an inverted y axis, except it only works for one round then reverts back even though it still reads inverted in settings. Swapping it back then does nothing, it stays the same. How issues like this make it thru to release is inexcusable and pitiful. Rlly a game ruiner for me anyways. LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,286 1 38 #18 LordShad0wz, Sep 9, 2015 I'm giving this a thumbs up. It's fun! There's no ads or IAP. It's a fully premium experience. I only used the on screen controls and they are great! The art style and colors are vibrant. I unlocked free roam and I collected enough money to unlock the baron aircraft. I'm going back to playing! The reason I deduct one star is because there's no way to put the analog stick on the left which is the natural way I would play. I will email the developer to ask for this to be added. But I tell you the controls are great! It's well worth the price of admission. This is a game I am happy to pay for! I was pleasantly surprised with how fluid they were and it fits the game perfectly.
