How do you position your fingers? I like to have my left thumb controlling movement (back and forth and such), and on my right hand I have my middle finger aiming and my right thumb pressing the shoot button. This works well as you can aim while you shoot. Anyone else have good strategies?

Middle and Index finger extended, pointing slightly away from each other, the others bunched into a fist.

I use my left thumb to move, and my right thumb to do everything else; look around, shoot, reload etc.

If you try the way I suggested, although it's hard to get used to, it's more accurate when you're fighting in Gameloft games.

    Look out your window.
How is that even remotely comfortable or logical.

I hold both the iPhone and the iPad as regular controllers, only using my thumbs to control everything on screen. If that doesn't work the developer needs a lesson in game design.

    It was!

    =oD

Definitely out a smile on my face.

And killjoy.. I set up my controls like you so that I can aim/look around and then reach upto fire/reload/ect. So far, it's been the most comfortable positioning for me that I've found.

I don't reach up, the buttons are where my thumbs naturally sit when gripping the iPad. It felt weird holding it lower when I first got the thing (3 days ago) but I may actually move it down

Left thumb for moving around, right index finger for looking and thumb for shooting.

If you only use your right thumb to shoot and look around, doesn't it make it harder to shoot and aim as someone is running? And I find that having a separate finger controlling the aim allow you to put your thumb on the sprint button and control where you sprint (along with your left thumb on the movement joystick).
