Oh no, Final Fantasy style combat? It's boring and doesn't require any skills, you just have to grind to win everything.

I like grinding, if the battle is fun and rewarding.

    Looking forward to more detail.

Great art style from Luc Bernard again. Is he the lead artist or the programmer or both? Anyways, I bought the last game (Mech Wars) and I'll certainly buy this one as well (that's how much I like the art style :p)

Yes it's so boring that it was one of the most successful TBS games ever. [/sarcasm]
The mechanical mermaid sort of freaked me out but otherwise the game art is excellent.

It requires knowledge. If you're not a good tactician you're going to fail.

Oh man, if these guys are going to make a serious FF-style RPG, I hope they can really stack a few hours onto the gameplay. The max for iPhone RPGs seems to be about 3 hours right now. If there was one thing that bothered me about mecho wars, it was that it was too easy and too short.

Still, this is already a must-buy on account of being so purty...

Zenonia, Dungeon Hunter, Hybrid all lasted longer than 3 hours for me. But the art for this one does look good. Looking forward to another RPG to add to my list.

Oh my. I am an animator, and am quite pleased to see you guys going the traditional route and hand drawing everything. Excellent concept, I think I just wet myself.

    Pirates! Nice :)
    Graphics not bad!

  16. I have to say, while I enjoy the art style in Mecho Wars, seeing it in this context just isn't as appealing. Except for the airship thing, the art looks bland and generic to me.

Can't wait to see more stuff in the Mecho Wars universe, tho.
