A Puzzling Adventure with a Twist!

When White House inquiries to the Scoggins Eraser Co. are answered only with curious puzzles, Nelson Tethers from the U.S. Department of Puzzle Research is sent on the case.

The strange events in Scoggins will challenge every ounce of Tethers expertise, and possibly his very wits too, with brainteasers at every turn: mazes, logic puzzles, riddles, and more. He soon realizes that these - along with the clinically pre-occupied townspeople, secret societies, and peculiar sounds from the forest - are intimately connected to the core mystery. And what's with the gnomes?

* Plentiful puzzles to challenge your neurons. See if you can find every puzzle to solve the mystery of Scoggins -- mazes, logic, riddles, brainteasers and more.

* Investigate the strange, peculiar and mind-boggling to crack the case! Your discoveries provide clues to the larger mystery crippling the town, or uncover puzzles that must be solved to reveal answers ... or even more questions.

* Hunting for Hints: Chewing gum helps Agent Tethers think and solve. Find and collect gum wads around the town to uncover hints if you get "stuck" in any puzzles.

* Creative collaboration with indie comic artist Graham Annable (Grickle comics and animated shorts)

I have this for my iPod Touch but have barely played through it. At this price, I think I will pick it up for my iPad being as I like playing these types of games much more on the larger screen.

This is a fun puzzle game with a funny story. Definitely worth the asking price. Just wish they got to work on the sequel already.

Does the game save its progress? The trial doesn't.

This game is great at the curent asking price ($0,99). Its way to short for anything higher than that. Loved the crispy clear HD graphics! The game could do without the constant hand holding. The puzzles are nice, but not diverse enough. The atmosphere in the game was the best thing about it.

Looking forward to the sequel!

Given the, um, ending of the game, and the unfinished plot threads (including one shown in the very beginning) - anybody know if there's any plan for a sequel? I'm sure it's meant to be ambiguous, but it just annoyed me.

Was looking for a puzzle game and this looked interesting.
First of, story is very captivating , there is a lot of unconnected and weird stuff at beginning that keep you interested and intrigued. As an FBI agent you are sent to small town in woods that holds terrible secret, and all mystery and suspense that build in game made me play it without stopping. One of rare games that has such an atmosphere ( there is even some classy black humor at moments ).
Art style would be amazing if it wasn't so fuzzy in most animations, at times they even looked like running on less than 20 FPS and present fuzziness make some characters look like they are cut out of paper and pasted in game.Haven't had any problems with sound synchronization , but there are some rare parts in game when characters don't say their lines.Unfortunately , not a retina game and that can be noticed overall in it with "crude" visuals of some items and especially on map.
Puzzles are excellent , some are a bit confusing and harder than they seem at beginning, but eventually all can be mastered if you invest some time and brain effort. Not a single one has been identical and I finished 20 of them ( around half of game ).
Overall, very satisfied with game.Story and puzzles are true value of game and they are both perfect. On the other side, fuzzy animations , some smaller bugs and occasional silence from characters that have text is devaluating overall experience of this, otherwise perfect , game.Even with those problems I would suggest this game to any puzzle , mystery and suspense genre addict.

Score - 3.5 / 5
