Given the expansion layout it's almost essential to play through core plus most expansions with one character due to higher level requirements of some expansions. However with these upcoming expansions there will be too much overlap that for some lower level expansions you'd have to start a new character. With each expansion you could always start a new character and play that expansion solo (but that wouldn't be very macho). That's how I understand it.
I think that most people will play with their high level characters because it's fun to be godlike. But it's also fun to go through the Quest with a new character so you could have a special character that you save for each series. It's really up to you. : ) I've run through the base games more times than I can count just starting over, each time with a different avatar just for the fun of it. We had one player who replayed as a monk--just using wooden items. : ) He --Aslmentor----got pretty far. : ) Beyond that we're trying to make things interesting in the series so you don't have fun just depending on what level you are.
O.K. More questions: In the Iron Witches Tower, there's that path way that has the two doors, the first I got open by using the Fire Bow to light the candles. The second says to put them out, so I equip a different bow and use Water arrows but they won't go out... Not sure what to do. I don't have any water spells. Also, I'm having trouble deactivating the Molem. I tried Calm, Detect Mind, nothing works. All the answers just make him turn into a mob which I then I have to kill. Am I missing something there? I think that's all for now.
Do you have the Water Bow--you need that and the water arrows. : ) I don't think you've found the real Molem. : ) You've found the clones. : ) He's there. : )
Haha yeah, after I posted I wandered around the maze for a bit until he appeared behind a bush ! Dang, no water bow. I don't suppose I can just buy it?

After you finish the gold edition, you buy an expansion, open it and click a button to enable it in the main one (the gold edition). Then you go back to the gold edition and it will be there. You can delete the expansion at this point. I hope that helps!

We should be done testing soon. We're already working on Celtic Rift II. And you can always get help there. : ) I'm sorry I haven't had more time to post here but fixing the betatesters' fixes for Horde II and putting in Celtic Rift II takes time. : )
I asked this at my forum and I'm going to ask it once again here. We will have a guy, Ebbi, in Celtic Rift II who will be able to solve your unfinished quests. Do you have any open quests you have decided are dead in the water that you'd like Ebbi to solve for you? Please let me know here or at my website. Thanks. I already have a long list. : ) You'll be able to get an Ebbi (not an Emmy, no such luck) for your quests. But I need to know which quests you need washed away.
