Touchgen gave it a 2.5/5.
It is short but it has a lot of replayability compared to alot of other games. This really is more like an old arcade game where you put quarters in and played for less than 5 minutes at one spurt. For that, it is great, but if you are expecting a game to play for hours at one sitting, forget it.

Also, there are different planes which add a different feel for each replay, and also, in the settings, there is a hidden difficulty setting which is worth playing with to get a more fast and furious game.

It certainly behind SG, NFS:MW and RR2 and worse, I can see noticeable frame rate drop when the screen is busy while the iPad3 shows no punishment.

So far I am sticking with using the accelerometer as the throttle as my score seems better. Time to take out the Fling once again...
Here's my screenshot of hdmi tv ipad 3 using stretch full screen mode.

This game has some of the best hdmi 3d graphics I have seen. Some parts will almost make you pee in your pants, they are that good. Great fun, but they gotta iron out the framerate stutters and move the speed throttle on the ipad where you can use it. Don't like the tilt for speed, keep accidentally changing my speed with that style of controls. The joypad controls are great with the exception of the speed throttle being on top of the ipad screen and the fire buttons all on the bottom. Really really stupid design.

But man, the graphics rock, and the sense of speed is awesome on hdmi. Wowzers! Take a close look at the screenshot, the landscape is so damn pretty.
