That's pretty much the reason I had to upgrade to the new iPad, as I've still got my iPod touch 4G but the amount of games that don't support it these days is crazy, mine struggles to even load the web never mind new games.
Something like fish out of water is all laggy and that's a pretty basic game.

Well anyway this is looking cool, can't wait.

It sucks that Apple Released it so terribly underpowered, but that's Apple for you.. And yeah the game looks sweet! I can't wait, is there any ETA yet?
