Can we get an update on Rogue Planet? It was "just weeks from release" like two months ago. This is one my my most eagerly anticipated titles on the iPhone and the singular reason I skipped over Mecho Wars.
You might wanna just get Mecho Wars... it's a great game with multiplayer coming... and this won't be out for a long time.
Last I heard they were entertaining offers from publishers. This could mean a number of things. Maybe the publisher wanted to get more content in to the game before it's released for a bigger launch at a higher price point, or maybe they've been working on some kind of insane internet push-enabled multiplayer, who knows.
They said they were working on a publisher deal (Im betting with Chillingo) and that release would probably be in September.
Thanks Hodapp and hardcoreEric. If they are in talks with a publisher it's probably because they have a product worth investing some marketing money into. Excellent! And knowing its out in Sept. means I no longer have to obsessively check TouchAracde twice a day. I also didn't get Mecho Wars because Luc Bernard seems like a bit of a jackass. He's his own worst troll on the internet. I also played a lot of AdvanceWars DS back in the day, so I don't just want to play a clone (even one with some extra day/night tricks).
Luc's a good guy. I sent him a few private messages and he actually replied (something most stuck up devs don't do), Agharta won't reply ANYTHING at all or keep their fanbase posted.
give up Rouge Planet for long... it may shows up one day but who knows bought Mecho Wars, hate the graphic (they called ART,well :\)... and stop playing after 4~5 levels now all my attention are Battle for Wesnoth - tactical strategy RPG http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=19976 dowload the PC version (free) playing it everyday...so addicted
I really like the Mecho Wars art direction...probably my favorite part of the game, so I guess to each his/her own.
