I don't regret purchasing this as I like to support indie studios but I played it for a bit and just don't see the point. It seems like a super-scaled down version of 100 Rogues without alot of the things that made the original game interesting.
Plus... I start out as a guy with a gun? Um, ok...

The game-play kinna starts out slow. Or better description would be without much of a challenge. But it seems to be getting better and better. It almost feels like a 100 Rogues tutorial. |

I absolutely LOVE this. Great idea with the bite sized strategic challenges. Hope you add another 100 trials to this once I'm done with the first set ;-)

Thanks! I can't guarantee how long my full-time status with 100 Rogues / Trials is going to continue. If 100 Trials does do really well, I can guarantee another 100 Trials will get made. We've got our Dinoman Bruiser coming out that will certainly benefit, as well as our other existing monster classes.
If not, well, I still have a great deal of fun designing levels for the game, so you can bet I will still be coming out with them (albeit at a much slower rate). And while we're on the subject of future plans, there's a good chance that the Hundredth Trial is a taste of things to come... |

So, I know some of you have been waiting to hear from other TAers how this game stack up, but the forums here seem to have been somewhat quiet the last few days.
But! A few reviews have come in from other sites that I thought I'd post a few reviews that have come in from other sites. AppSpy had this to say about us: "It may not be as fresh for veterans of 100 Rogues, but for some this is a far better way to approach such a complex RPG system and heartily recommended if you enjoy puzzling turn-based titles." Jives pretty consistently with TA's perspective, but I've gotta say I was pretty happy to see that comment. Full review: http://www.appspy.com/100-trials-review Also, Gamezebo gave us a 4.0 / 5.0: http://www.gamezebo.com/games/100-trials/review, saying: "It goes without saying that if you liked 100 Rogues, you must play the follow-up. If, however, you've been pining for an iron game that mixes strategy with laying and a dash of humor, 100 Trials will keep you busy for a long, long time" |

I missed the sale but this game seem to change price often like almost couple of days. I will wait till it gets $0.99 again.
