Some more info: 5 stages with crazy bosses for each stage. Multiple types of enemies, some with armor and special attacks. Different types of weapon, and modules to customize your Jet. Score multiplier for the hardcore gamers. Universal app, with full resolution support on non-retina iPhone/iPod Touch all the way to iPad 3. Game Center (Leaderboards, Achievements) In-game store to get items and upgrades faster. Game can be fully completed without spending extra money. This game is heavily inspired by Space Deadbeef, if anyone remembers that game from back in 2008? I was waiting for the original maker to expand on it, but after waiting for so long, I decided to do my own version of it.

Besides what Josh said about difficulties, do keep in mind that the Jet in those clips has some pretty sweet upgrades.
J.A.M. fully supports the iPhone 5 widescreen display, out of the gate. It will be out on Wednesday, the 19th. I updated the first post with more details. This is a screenshot at the new iPhone 5 resolution (1136x640):
Yap, it has relative touch controls. Also, you move the Jet with your left hand (vertical steering), and attack with the right. Each weapon type has a different method of control for attacking, which allows you to use the weapon you are most comfortable with. Also the vertical steering has sensitivity setting in the Options. For example on the iPad you'd want it more sensitive than say for the iPhone due to the bigger screen.
