Hot and colds lists? Improved match engine (every year), UI is a lot nicer, tactics now matter that bit more in the game, new player tactical roles.

I get the baseball game every year. Decently like soccer but not sure how good I'd be strategy wise.
I grew up a baseball fan and played a little as a kid. However, iootp didn't grasp me as much as this did. I've recently gotten in football within the past 5 years or so and once I found this game, it became one of my most played games.

The menus are clean and attractive. You can play without needing to do much managing of players and positions/tactics. BUT by playing it, you'll become more familiar with the sport and end up sinking much thought into many managerial aspects. Just writing this, I'm thinking of many things I want to do in my game as Chelsea. So, I'll leave it at that and go back to playing!

Just updated both my iPad and iPhone! I was excited to see a couple new players added to my club... However, for some reason, in full pitch view players don't have the right numbers. Anyone else experiencing this?

On my Chelsea club Torres isn't 9 he's 11, Moses isn't 13 he's 8, Ba isn't 29 he's 13, Ivonavic isn't 2 he's 3, Lampard isn't 8 he's 6, etc.

The game doesn't contain 'squad' numbers for the players - they use the standard designated numbers for their playing position.

This is simply because of the restricted memory on some mobile devices meaning we constantly 'trade' off to decide what to add into the game and at present if its the choice between adding squad numbers or reducing the size of the active game database by a few hundred players, a larger database is preferred.

(at some point in the future we might add squad numbers into a future version - but its not planned at present)
