why?????? some of the games on the app store are utter c**p imo minigore and sandstorm impress me but not much else!!! and castle of magic but the controls are a little hard to grasp for me ( I ain't a series gamer but enjoy some of them)
so Sega just make games for who ever and still make loads of cash without having there own console???
zero percent. nintendo doesnt want any more competition for the DS there are lots of similar games in the app store, though.
i see your point but i wouldnt buy a ds, im a casual gamer and so are many iphone/touch users. mario would make them a mint if they released a version for the iphone!!
Probably not any time soon BUT, possibly eventually cause they have got to realize the mass amounts of cash they would make by releasing some good ol classic titles of theirs. Sonic came out more than well for iPhone so I think a 2d side scroller like Mario would be perfect. They know people aren't gonna go buy a DS for just casual gaming so like any good cooperation I'm sure they will come out with something. But as of now, nope nope, nothing from Nintendo for sooooome time.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say 0%. Putting Nintendo games on the iPhone would be the nail in the DS's coffin
I joined just to say this. No chance in hell haha Unless someone hacks it and adds a nintendo emulator. Sega no longer makes hardware so Sonic is fair game. But Mario will never happen unless Nintendo goes under.
