But for free, I'll definitely add it to the collection. Thanks for the heads up. It's not a pure clone by any means as it has a lot of original stuff going on. It is by far the closest thing to AW on iOS (outside of an emu of course). DO NOT pass this up if you like turn based strategy games. _Max_ Well-Known Member Apr 19, 2012 1,500 0 0 #5 _Max_, Nov 7, 2013 Look like Advance Wars, give it a try, thanks for head-up Gunlock Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2010 472 0 16 #6 Gunlock, Nov 7, 2013 Absolutely fantastic game and a must have for any turn based strategy fan. Come on devs, just tick the box please darkprophet2088 Well-Known Member Dec 15, 2012 96 0 6 #9 darkprophet2088, Nov 7, 2013 aww they changed the background music. it was really catchy... nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #10 nightc1, Nov 7, 2013 Yeah the old company that made the original game went under (hence why it's not on the appstore anymore), so I guess whatever license deal they had for music went with it. Some of the character art changed as well, but nothing too drastic as all the graphics got upgraded in the process. Gunlock Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2010 472 0 16 #11 Gunlock, Nov 7, 2013 That was the biggest disappointment I had when playing the game for the first time. The music from the old version was absolutely fantastic, moody and simply beautiful. The new music just doesn't fit into the games atmosphere and is much worse imho. But the soundtrack from the old version is still available on iTunes. I'll buy it and play the music in the background while playing the new version of the game We'll see how it goes.
