What are the best deals inthe app store? I would say battle for wesnoth (300+hours of gameplay for 5 bucks) space miner(best game on app store for only 2 bucks) jet car stunts (great game only 2 bucks) doodle jump(have logged so many hours for less than the price of coffee) GTA CTW( the clones on the DS and PSP go for 3-4 times the price) and Touchgrind(so much fun for only 5 dollars). What do you guys think?
I doubt that somehow, i picked up a copy for like £20 imported right after it came out :-\ Although, its obviously still cheap on appstore, I havn't seen anyone mention whether the difficulty had been rebalanced from the ds version as some of the later missions definitely needed the precision gained from using actual buttons. edit: Space Miner, buy buy buy
Battle for Wesnoth! For puzzles, Mondrian and Angry Birds are great values. I'd also say that at $1, 2360: Battle of Cydonia is a pretty fantastic value.
warfare inc. is only $1 and has pretty much an unlimited amount of maps when you consider that it has a mission creator and you can download other peoples created maps, and the game plays pretty good as well
I have to go with Enviro-Bear 2010. It has anything you could ever want in a game: A hungry bear driving an orange automobile while dodging rabid badgers and collecting fish and berries and swatting wasps and hurling pinecones and avoiding other bears before hibernating. And wait... Wait for it... IT'S ONLY A DOLLAR. *explosion of ecstasy*
Doodlejump! Can't believe nobody's already said it the game is crack for the idevices And if you don't believe me its been in top 5 in the appstore for months (I think) know.
i think another great game is Minigore. It's quick addicting and for only $2, it has extreme re-playability
JET CAR STUNTS this game is amazing and will last you for months to come. GTA is good, just like the DS game but much cheaper. If you like RPGs then you must check out The Quest. There is a Lite version where you can see if you like the style. The Quest has over 200 hrs of gameplay with 5 expansions out already and many more to come. Space Invaders Infinity Gene has literally unlimited levels as you can use your own songs to play.
So being free affects value? Is five dollars really so much for you despite hours and hours of gameplay?
GTA - a great & huge game that is much cheaper than its counterparts on DS/PSP. GT Racing - easily 24+ hours of gameplay in just the career mode. Eliminate - You can totally play the entire game for free! Driver - decent game length and a great game, for a fraction of its original cost. Rolando 2 - was worth it at $10. For $5 (total) its a bargain. Real Racing - still 1 of the best racers on the platform, and with all the online features is a bargain at $5. iBlast moki - awesome game with level editor, only $3. 2XL ATV Offroad - awesome game and was on sale for only $1. Currently $5, but still worth it. Doom Resurrection - Certainly worth it when its been on sale fro as little as $2. Currently at $7, but still good value. Also has some of the best shooter controls to date on iPhone. Flight Control - I've logged many hours in that game for only $1. And the DS version is about $5, with just 1 extra level!
