That's no problem I'll just play on my iPad which is much better anyway withy it just being you I didn't think it would be on but thought I would ask. Seems like you've done amazing though with everything and I'm sad to see it'll be a little while yet but I understand. Been holding off playing the beta more as I wanted to wait for any changes from the release version instead. Also for the image my only thought there is maybe being faster people will stop to watch it but it didn't seem to take too long before. But the fast speed makes me think damn that looks hard because I know for sure I couldn't swap that fast when I played!
Haha, yeah, but you don't know how many tries I needed before getting it right. It was more like a choreography in the end. People kept telling me it was too slow, so I increased the speed a little. Btw. I also added the gif to the official website now. I think it looks nice, but the loading times are a little increased as well. What do you think? SwapQuest.de
It's official now: SwapQuest will be released on the AppStore next week, on March 19. TouchArcade also heard the good news. To celebrate this, here's the release trailer:
the words that describe my emotions towards the release of SwapQuest: utter excitement! As a beta tester I already played it for hours and had a lot of fun! My favourite levels are the Zelda-esque (in terms of "find the right strategy") boss fights. Awwww, these bosses are sooo cute, yet so dangerous! So make sure you have some credits left in your AppStore account, you're going to need them!
In two days SwapQuest will be released on the Appstore! Today I want to spotlight an element of the game that didn't get the attention it deserves until now: the soundtrack. SwapQuest has an amazing soundtrack by the very talented André Weiß (Symphonic Square), with complex orchestral arrangements and a lot of character. This is not the typical marketing talk when I say that I love the soundtrack André did. So if you have any love for videogame music, take a minute to listen to some tracks and consider buying the soundtrack! I've made a short trailer showcasing some of my personal favorites, but you can also listen to the whole soundtrack on Bandcamp.
