I really liked it! It was fun and easy to use but the only problem I encountered was that the ad blocked the las few rows of squares. But lots of different variations os sound. Very fun app :)

Thanks for the feedback and really glad you liked it!

We wanted to make sure people knew that if they removed the ads they would get some extra rows and we figured the best way to do that was to leave them visible all the time, perhaps it was a bad idea if it ends up looking more like a bug :)

I ended up getting a code (thanks glitch games) and its a pretty neat concept spooky sounds techno all sorts of music is here and you make the beats but placing cubes. 99 cents unlocks the starter pack consisting of 6 or more beats plus the ads go away overall a nice deal

Glad you like it, we've already got some sounds that we are hoping to put in a new pack in an update, just not sure how we want to go about it. Either make a pack like "Advanced" with random sounds or make a ( for example ) "Rave" pack or a "Heavy" pack etc

    Looking forward to it :)

Make a hip hop pack, double bass drums or just a metal pack then maybe classical or more old style instruments.

Yea that would be cool and allow us to provide what everyone wants and if you don't want a particular sound, such as metal, just don't buy that pack.

Looks promising, but way too limited at present

I'm not expecting the Yamaha TNR-I app for $.99, but only two layers, with no tempo control? And given that there are 20 rows, not 16 or 24, it's hard to do much in 2/4 or 4/4 time (though I did have some fun with some 5/4 rhythms). These are all things I'm sure are easy to change--as I said, there is promise here, and keeping things simple can be a virtue. But Mixis is at present a bit too simple and quirky.

Also, I noticed a couple of bugs, at least for the iPad 4. First, there seems to be an issue with the first few columns not playing the expected notes; the pitch descends for the first columns, then rises, then descends for the rest of the columns. Also, there is a 2x3 rectangle of buttons at the lower right which cannot be activated. (Yes, this is the paid version.)

Good luck with this app; I await the next update. Could be a lot of fun!

Yea it's certainly not meant to be a replacement for the TNR-I app :)

We're going to get a 1.1 version up as soon as we can that will have tempo control as well as 4/4 time grids. We'll also get that issue fixed :)
