Napoleon vs. Joan of Arc. Who'd win in a fight?

That's the idea behind History Fighter- a CCG about time-traveling, super-powered historical figures. After a solid year of hard work, we're ready to show you guys what we've got, and ask for feedback in the final stages.

This looks and sounds like a cool idea, the thing I'd like to know is how the combat works? Is there stats or dice rolls etc.

There are 4 stats used in the game: HP (health/life), AP (action/cost), ATK (Attack), and DEF (Defense). The game is played by spending AP to move cards on to the board (battlefield). There is a 1-round wait until cards become active unless they have Swift or another ability to attack instantly. Any time a card's ATK is higher than DEF then normal combat damage is dealt according to ATK value. When health reaches zero on a card, it is removed from play. When HP reaches zero for the Agent (either player) or Opponent (story mode encounter) the game is over!

Those are the basics!

Sounds awesome! iPad only, online multiplayer? Or will it have some way of playing locally?

Yes, History Fighter has two multiplayer game modes (1) is designed for pass-and-play around a table with a friend, which works right now, and (2) multiplayer online!

iPad is the first platform we will optimize for, but once it’s launched we will hit platforms one at a time as a team to optimize each as best we can – hope that all makes sense and thanks for asking!
