OH Because i have heard rumors about this september and it is going to have a camera and mic and if you jailbreak you could possibly have a video camera. i also heard they will only be selling 16gb and 32gb
I have also heard the rumors that there will be an event held at the beginning of September for the ipod refresh line-up. Most likely there will be upgraded memory, and hardware to the next touch. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I think at a minimum it'll get the speed bump like the iPhone 3GS, but they'll have to include some other features to entice people to buy it. I'm hoping for a camera.
for sure it'll have a camera, faster speed (3Gs), more internal memory (no more apps closing on you) it'll come in 16gb, 32gb, and 64gb starting at $200. it might be announced and scheduled for release in september. hopefully they add a built-in mic...
Those are almost guaranteed this year. Only thing I don't agree with is the memory, I think it will be the same as the 3Gs, 256 MB. Only question is when they will release it. Sept 9 when they announce it or Friday the 11th after the announcement? Or maybe one week later like with what happened to the iPhone 3Gs after the announcement earlier this year. Why I think it might be released a little earlier is the Zune HD comes out Sept 15. While Apple in no way needs to worry about it yet I am sure Steve would like to release the new iteration of iPods before the Zune comes out. Just another dig at Microsoft.
They better get it out before the 15th. I lost my touch at my friends house, which crosses several different planes of existence, and if I don't get my hands on madden 10 or modern combat the SECOND they come out, I'll be pissed. I already haven't gotten to play gangster, but I hope it will all pay off waiting.
