Very nice! Also instant purchase for me. Spiderweb Jeff is always doing really great in the storytelling department. In this case I don't care at all about the rather ..ahem.. outdated graphics. They are functional, and that's enough here.

I have yet to finish the first two, though I have bought them. I will get this one as well in hopes that it will boost the sales enough for him to remake Avernum 4 and 5, and put them on the app store. I loved the Avadon series to bits, so I'm sure this will live up to the immense hype I have for anything made by Mr. Vogel.

Is this game worth the effort fighting with the interface constantly? This is one of the least immersive experiences I've seen since Wizardry 2.

Going by the other 2 Avernums and the 3 Avadons, most definitely yes. If you can get past the UI issues, I found the Avernum story - and world - one of the most captivating I encountered in my decades of gaming.

Puh-leaze! It's at least as good as Legacy of Llylgamyn
