I bought it, played some, and didn't quite get the "zen" appeal. To me it was just, ummm, dull. pluto6 Well-Known Member Jun 21, 2009 5,837 3 38 Military #15 pluto6, Mar 28, 2010 I only play this game off and on, but it definitely is a puzzle type game. Yesterday, I was playing, and got 100% except had not been keeping an eye on the final nail to connect to, and had no way to get to it, due to having prior windings being in the way. You have to really plan in advance in order to do well. On later puzzles even reaching minimum goals have you planning windings well in advance. Like any really good puzzler - it is easy to manipulate, and seems pointless (due to being simple), but to really do well becomes quite challenging. I have hundreds of (real) mechanical puzzles, and people look at them and think "huh, that looks stupid, or simple, or...." However, when I tell them to just try it, 15 - 20 minutes later they are getting totally frustrated, and saying "it looks so easy, why am I having this problem" and it is all about not understanding the basic principles of manipulation. To me, Zen Bound is much like this. Also, I love the art and music...
