It's been successfully ported to so many other platforms over the years that licensing issues can be sorted out. Anyone know why? Would be fantastic on the iPad. Thanks.
I was a big Robotron fan too, but I don't see it coming to iOS, mostly because it would be difficult to adapt to a krappy freemium pay model. There are some pretty good knockoffs out there, though, that were developed before gaming got so greedy. Of the ones I've played, Minotron 2112 is the best.
Maddragon is about to release a game very similar to robotron. Coming out fairly soon, cant remember the name but when it releases toucharcade will provide coverage!
