This article says a spinoff of Gravity's Ragnarok Online is coming to the US App Store on 08/05. http://www.rpgfan.com/news/2011/1935.html http://romb.jp/rov/pc/
Will probably be picking this one up. I played this one online back in middle school, and thought it was pretty fun. Surprised this hasn't been announced or anything yet with an imminent release date fast approaching. Looks like it'll be a good single-player KRPG on the iOS.
Ah..didn't even see that it was going to be free. There's probably going to a bunch of iAP consumables, bleh.
Apparently this has been out in Japan and there is a version avaliable on Cydia through xSellize with an english patch. Speculation suggests that if it can be hacked indepently then that would operate independent of severe IAP. Edit: I don't support piracy; just making academic point about fan following suggesting fair IAP. Appannie.com here lists several IAPs but they are in japanese so non-sensical to me. Japanese iTunes link... App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.
Here's a crumby internet translator text of the IAPs listed on japanese App Store, maybe someone else can make more sense of it than I can...
the catch is it prob has in game shop. as like maplestory "thief" or "cygnus knights edition" how they both have kinda like "cash shop" they want u to spend a lot of money on like buying more exp....weapons, items . etc....this is also pretty much same as zenonia 3 and how it got annoying u had to buy the pills to keep from losing exp when u die. >.<
I used to have this on my dumbphone and you can trasnfer your money from the mobile version to your online version.
