Am I one of the only people who owns what is probably the best puzzle platformer on the iPhone? I wanted to find out exactly how many people were able to buy a copy of the game while it was in the App Store. Note: I do not know the developer, nor am I associated with him in any way, so I can't tell you if we'll ever see the game again.
I has it . Got it back in June 2009 when I got my 3GS, after it got put back on the App Store after their first takedown. Curse you, TL!!!
First noticed it around chistmas '08 (can't have been '09 ) bought it somewhere in Jan-Feb last year.
Touch Arcade was having one of those free promo events on the main page, and was one of the winners. Edgy was taken off the AppStore a few days before I got the code and it still worked...it really sucks they took the game off even after they changed it.
I got it after it was removed once. It's a great game .Such a shame they had to go through all this stuff
I think a whole lot of people have it, it sold fairly well while it was in the App Store. Not to mention it was featured by Apple on their "Best Games of 2009". I probably have the title wrong, but it was featured with other games, like Doodle Jump, etc.
Man, I wish that Tim Langdell would get over this crap and put EDGE back in the App Store. Sure, it wasn't the best game I've ever played (I have the demo from when it was still around), but it was a really great one, and seeing as it was such a successful game, I don't think that one idiot should be able to so easily get it removed. Either way, it's not on the App Store now, but if it did come back, I think I'd probably grab it.
Some guy who made the "Edge Games" which hasn't made a game in a decade but he just goes around suing people for games with the word "edge" in it. He tried it on EA's "Mirrors Edge". Got owned.
I got Edge when it first came out. I still play the game now, I think it's the best platformer in the app store.
It's still on the NL (Netherlands) store so I have it, of course. There was an update yesterday and they've now named it Edge.
Got it a while ago. If not, I'd have had to get a cracked version, which I hate doing. What shocks me is that Apple would listen to some moron who isn't even a developer and IGNORE the FIRM LEGAL PRECEDENT that says that he has no right to sue anyone. Someone needs to put a bullet though that ****er's head.
Tim Langdell owns Edge Games which ARE devs. He also has a trademark over the word "Edge" in video games. Any game with Edge in the title can be sued because the "edge" implies it's from his studio (that's his legal arguement) He can also sue apple for helping someone break that trademark (by approving it for sale) It sucks and he's a troll but there isn't anything we can do about it. Now going back on topic, I don't have EDGE Every time it's been in the AppStore I have n't had the money to get it. I'm cursed it seems
