    Hi all,

So there's a great post over the in the games discussion section about quick, hard and super fun games http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=208401

I'm currently creating a separate app from my forthcoming shmup to focus solely on the boss fight alone and making this along the lines of the above.

I was wondering if anyone can give me any advice or tips on making a game that is "quick, fun and super hard"? How short is short (at what point would you consider the cut off point? - is 5 mins too long for eg?)? Should such a game have an end point/game complete at all? Or should it be impossible (practically speaking) to complete?

    Thanks!

Have you ever played cat mario?
The basic genre is "rage game".. There is a seriously lack of those on the AppStore.
You could make a cat mario spin off, like Rat mario.
Check it out. It's addictive as hell.

Focus on minimalism, tight controls, and a simple clean art style.
    Catchy music helps.
