I'm happy because i had this on my list for some time and i was doubting if i would have fun with it or not, now i can try for free. I'm sad that Foursaken doesn't get the money now though. Jake7905 Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2013 1,004 0 0 #4 Jake7905, May 17, 2014 Though I'm ecstatic to finally try this game out (had it on my wishlist, have every other Foursaken game, but had too large a backlog), it is sad to see games like this go free. No reason to get all nervous. Unless I'm misreading the comments here zeratulo Well-Known Member Mar 29, 2014 127 0 0 #6 zeratulo, May 17, 2014 It's a sale. Why do you care anyway, you hadn't bought it before, why bitch now? Jake7905 Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2013 1,004 0 0 #7 Jake7905, May 17, 2014 Since it's a Foursaken game, I had zero concerns about a F2P conversion. I was just hoping that this free promotion isn't a result of poor sales. gamer300 Well-Known Member Feb 11, 2014 193 0 0 Europe #8 gamer300, May 17, 2014 We can't buy everything we want at once, atleast i can't. And some people actually care when the dev's they like are not making profit due to poor sales. zeratulo Well-Known Member Mar 29, 2014 127 0 0 #9 zeratulo, May 17, 2014 Yea, I hear you, when it's a choice between an extra double cheeseburger or a game for two bucks, it's no contest. At least you have an iPhone, and service, and an internet connection... gamer300 Well-Known Member Feb 11, 2014 193 0 0 Europe #10 gamer300, May 17, 2014 Are you being sarcastic or what? Cheshire-Cat Member Nov 29, 2013 16 0 0 #11 Cheshire-Cat, May 17, 2014 Stop being such a prick. People are gifted iPhones, you do know that right? Or maybe they have an iPod or an iPad that they were given? And even if they did buy the idevice, just because they had money then doesn't mean they are rolling in it now. Furthermore, you can get cheap Internet plans, not all Internet plans cost 100+ a month, you don't have to be rich to have Internet connection. Lastly, unless you are using a debit card/credit card to add funds, it is not a choice between a "cheeseburger" because iTunes cards, at their cheapest, are 15 dollars who which is a lot to spend considering what necessities that 15 dollars could be put towards. gamer300 Well-Known Member Feb 11, 2014 193 0 0 Europe #12 gamer300, May 17, 2014 Plus, the fact that i need to pay for everything that i want myself, which i work for. And gaming is not my only hobby. I am gratefull for the roof over my head, and i realise people live on the street. Furthemore, it's pretty far to the nearest store where they sell iTunes card, especially by bike. Going out with friends is pretty expensive too, and don't even mention birthdays. But still, the only reason i didn't buy this is because its pretty far to get a card, and there were other games i wanted more. Because i was still doubting wheter i would like it. Pocketnova Well-Known Member Oct 15, 2012 2,346 0 0 #14 Pocketnova, May 17, 2014 I feel kind of bad for not buying the game, but the genre really isn't something I like. I have wanted to try it, though. I buy apps like a lunatic, but I know that's not going to be the case for ever. Having to concider how to spend even the smallest slump of change, done that, it's horrible. Those who haven't been through it probably should. Not sure if it "builds character", but at least you know the value of money after going through some shit like that... When you choose between a burger and an app when you're poor, you're basically picking between dinner and fun.. Hungry for 6 hours but able to play a gam that is most likely garbage... Or eat... Nobunaga Well-Known Member Jun 2, 2012 1,094 0 0 #18 Nobunaga, May 18, 2014 I hadn't bought this before. I was burnt out on tower defense and not a minecraft fan. Seemed like something I wouldn't like. What little I've played of it so far is pretty good though. I'll probably pick up an IAP in game to throw a little support back at the developer. If anyone's on the fence like I was, about grabbing it for free, I'd suggest giving this game a try. anarchy in the app store Member Jan 30, 2014 15 0 0 #19 anarchy in the app store, May 19, 2014 Is it me, or have amost all the games I've bought recently become free this month? cassus Member May 11, 2014 9 0 0 #20 cassus, May 21, 2014 Played quite a few hours. Finished human campaign and well into the next one. This game is fantastic. They've gott the genre mix ratios perfectly. Great controls, great everything. This game is multiple times better than I can really express. Wish all strat games had this type of base building, cause it's great. Hero units are fun to use and level as well. Feels like dota lane-pushing at times. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
