I only hate freemium up to a point, but everyone knows how many great runner games are or turn freemium so those, i still love. So here's my list of freemium games i love. Also, the ads dont bother me much, as i understand need to earn money from a free game too.
One of the reasons why i still tend to love some freemium games is because of the quality that the game is made of. Great examples are: Heroes Call Subway Surfers (to a lesser extent now though, since the game is still a crashfest for me) Into the Dead Infinity Run 3D Zombie Parkour Runner Elements Defender (I bought the paid version though which is more of a Plus version, but the free version is the full game without the bonuses) Zombie Tsunami Punch Quest One Epic Knight Wild Frontier Dead Trigger Pitfall! Shadowgun Deadzone Heroes of Order & Chaos There are more, but i cant remember others coz some just went free later than others. |

From a developers point of view freemium models are the best way to get a lot of downloads if marketed well, as there is no risk to the user as the game is free!
So in simple terms it is a lot easier to get noticed and be sustainable at the same time... |
