The early word is that it doesn't really fix the Purchased tab in the store. Now instead of a crash it times out. Pretty lame if true, but I haven't finished installing it so can't vouch for that. Anyone have it installed who had the purchased tab issue? Fixed or not?

I never got a crash in the Purchased tab, but frequently got one in the Updates tab when accidentally hitting the search bar before it disappeared. It's the most obvious crash bug I've ever seen in an OS in my entire life (I can recreate it at any time) and Apple doesn't seem to know about it. I'm updating just to find out whether they've noticed yet.
The bug is gone! Heaven be praised! I don't know what else to look for specifically, but I just fired up a few games and performance hasn't changed in any noticable way.
I am updating my new ipad ios 6.0.1, right now. 30 minutes in, now my iphone 4 is my laptop for now. Wow, text looks so small on an iphone on the web, but brings back old memories. I will report any differences I see. I am going to wait to update my iphone not for a couple of days though.
somebody told me that there is a bug if you update OTA? you have to update via itunes on computer is this true?
It still seems to hang for me too, waiting 10 minutes still nothing. Anyone have luck letting it sit for over an hour to get it up?
Woot! Gonna check this out now.. I'll post my experiences. Any idea if this update addresses home button issues? Edits: Home button seems to work better... though trying to access Purchased on my iPhone 4 did not work, it just timed out after trying to connect for 30 seconds. My iPad 3 "seemed" stuck on the Apple boot screen, with an empty progress bar. But I let it sit for about 30 minutes and it finally finished installing! Overall, both iPhone 4 and iPad 3 seem buttery smooth.. I have less of the "chop" that plagued my iPad before. That's GREAT already, even if the Purchased function is still buggy.
I did the update to iOS 6.1 and it works nicely. I want to unlock my phone so I can download free games and such and I wonder if this website is good for that?
6.1 does not fix the purchased tab. So disappointing. My iPhone 4 and my iPad 2 both still crash. I don't see any other issues so far though. Updated both OTA.
