I've tried being rational. It hasn't worked. I've been playing games since I was a baby with a Radioshack TRS-80. NEVER, on any other platform, have I downloaded a patch which Completely altered the gameplay experience for the worse.
Never has amyone come into my home and taped an advertisement onto my computer screen, TV, or Virtual Boy lenses. Oh noes, we can only charge 99 cents, boo hoo! Well, I feel bad for the good devs, like Everplay and Pik-Pok, because it's a risk spending ANYTHING when you have no control over the product. THIS will be the downfall of mobile gaming. At least for those of us who actually take it seriously, and not as just as playing a shiny version of Snake on our phone. Lemme check here for a second...ok, I got a copy of Toejam and Earl for the Sega Genesis that I bought second hand. Let's see what happens if I put it in my Sega Nomad. It's about 2 decades old, and Sega never made a dime off of me in the first place...but, I'll be damned! Now get this guys, you won't believe this! It's the same exact game! Piss off and find a new line of work Everplay, you tools. You'll never release a game, for as long as I have a functioning internet connection, that I'll let slip by. I'll hit every forum and social network. I will tar and feather your asses off of iOS. |

Go Greyskull go! Maybe one mans crusade to stop developers to add in ads or freemium converts can make a difference, good luck!
