Hey TA'ers! My new app was just released and it's pretty cool if I say so myself- it's an app made just for dogs! It's called App for Dog and it's got a painting game, a training clicker and customizable buttons. The app is optimized for dog use with full-screen buttons, an interface designed for a dog's unique visual range, and human checks before leaving the activities. I was inspired by my friend Anna Jane who runs a dog training school in Manhattan and started offering an iPad training class. Yes, it's a real thing! Take a photo of your newly tech savvy dog using the app (please make sure the app is viewable in the photo) and email it to [email protected] with your dog's name to enter. Any device is fine! If you take a photo of your dog creating a painting, please send along the finished painting as well! *There is a camera button to take a photo of the finished painting- it'll save to your photo album. Alternatively, you can just take a screenshot of the finished painting. The contest will end September 16th, so you have a little over a week to enter! I'll select the best photo then and send the winner a $25 Petco e-gift card- good for a extra bag of kibble or just a fancy new outfit for your dog! This could be your dog on September 17th. Also picture an iPad in there. By entering this contest, you retain all rights to the photo but allow me to use it for promotional material- promo banners, ads, videos, etc. Same for the paintings that your dogs make.
