from the makers of trism. I think this is going to be like zen bound. Everyone is going to ignore it until it is submitted, then the hype will be infectious, then all of the reviewers will give it a perfect score because they are still awestruck that it is in their hands, but it actually is really good too.
Darn you! You made me all excited and it's NOT out! haha I don't even have Trism but it's on my backlog and I am very interested in Trismology as well.
I said I'd tell you all when it got closer. Just read this page (4) from earlier today already: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=6370&page=4\ But I can't wait for this game! Syllogism in Trism was too short and easy....I got down to -17 par This game should get some really good and challenging levels.
So to clarify then... Is this new game just like Syllogism in its own app? If so, then that's great because firstly, Syllogism was the only part of the Trism package that actually interested me (the main Trism itself is quite boring and repetitive), and secondly, Syllogism was far too short. Step 1 in the final amends before release though... PLEASE remove the cutesy smily face from the splash screen...
Yes it the syllogism part from Trism. Except it's been talked about adding in different types of obstacles other than just bombs and locks as barriers from completing the levels. And who knows what other twists await. Also the level creator will make this have much more replay-ability once you complete the included 30 levels. There will also be the uploaded levels from users. Lol the cutesy smiley face is the icon and that is the main title screen Haha. Well I just meant 30 levels went by quick and once you beat them, there's nothign to come back for once it's complete. This will really keep things fresh and new and not like syllogism in Trism I. Also if anyone has ideas for obstacles or levels or ways they think something should be implemented please post them. I will pass them along.
You people are getting me excited about this. I love puzzle games. And it has downloadable levels. If it's $2.99 or below I'm in
Yeah syllogism puzzles are really fun. Lots of people loved this part of Trism the most. (Which is why he is making a new app for unlimited more levels ) And the price is not determined/I just don't know what it is. Keep in mind Trism started off at $4.99 and dropped to the current price of $2.99 and worth every penny. So I'm not sure what this will start off at.
This actually is not going to be our next project submitted. Can't go into too much details, but it will not be a puzzle game. I will be sure to post again when we are closer to release.
Oooo... I wonder what his next project WILL be then. Not a puzzle game either, really curious on what this is going to be. This seems like something that's really, really awesome. Trism= the game -ology= the study of The study of Trism?
Take that puzzle out of my puzzle game! I'm loving Trism and realize it IS a puzzle game, but that being said I hate puzzle levels (solve this) in my puzzle games! I want to play an infinte number of increasingly difficult levels until I can't make a move or don't take out an obstacle soon enough.
Would you reccomend it, I want to get this, or blue attack? This game looks alright, I think that trism looks better.
Err, I'm out of the loop just like you on THIS, Trismology game. I just picked up Trism, though, this morning, and it's pretty cute so far. I don't personally care for the puzzle levels, called the Syllogism Mode in Trism, but I'm having fun with the rest of the modes. Good match 3 fun with some unique mechanics and I think easily the most insane combo system of any match 3 game out there where you could, conceivably get over 1,000,000 in the very first level if you managed to hook onto a crazy arse combo and a normal set of 3 early on would only net you 10 points! I know there is a lot of skill to getting a major combo going but, so far, when I get a multi-million point score I have no clue what I did to bring that about. The very next game I might just score 68,000. If comparing to Blue Attack it really boils down to whether you prefer an intense action game or a puzzle game (which, true, can get intense if you're playing in the timed mode).
Yeah, I meant trism, I'm debating whether or not to pick it up, now that car jack doesn't seem like it's coming out for a while.
