This is gonna be a long agonizing wait! Imported two of the three DS games so I could play them right away. I hope they make use of DLC.

I am not going to buy ANYTHING until this game comes out (well, maybe the Verruckt map but nothing else). The single best DS game ever created, and one of the best portable games ever. I can't wait. I hope that by not being a direct port that means they'll be making use of DLC and maybe adding a 6th case too, like how they added a 5th case when it went from GBA to DS. And I'm gonna be dying for the next few weeks. I hope approval doesn't take too long... And I hope Langdell doesn't see this game, he'd probably pull it for having the name Edgeworth in it...
I read the original Famitsu article. It says: 手塚氏は｢タイトルの移植ではなく、モバイル向けに新作のつもりで取り組んでいます｣と、iPhone向けゲームに対し、本気で取り組んでいることをアピールし、トークセッションを締めた The short paraphrased translation is that "it's not going to be a port, but an all-new game directed toward the mobile market," and that they are "serious about iPhone game development." It helps to be Japanese
Oh, thanks for the update dude. Seeing Redd White I just thought it was going to be a port of the first one. Hopefully they include the original games as DLC though, I'd like to be able to play them on my iPod. I do hope the new cases are as good as the originals though, but knowing Capcom they always do a good job (umm... just ignore the Ghosts 'n Goblins update...)
Now I need: Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and my iPod will be heaven. (The latter is probably never coming.)
Yeah, they actually have some good competetion with the iPhone right now. Making an iPhone app would only hurt them, and when it comes to big companies, it's always about the money. I'm glad that most of the better games are made by third party developers though, so that we can have things like this.
This would be my favorite, except I've played Crisis Core. Yeah, that game was too much. But God I love PW. Such a good storyline, a great sense of humor that you don't see much in games these days, great characters that you actually feel like you get to know... the game is just amazing. At the end of the case I'd always be disappointed because it was over... It's just so good that I was actually kinda mad that the game ended lol. It was one of the greatest experiences on any gaming device, and now with DLC there doesn't need to be an end if Capcom implements it correctly.
OMG OMG OMG!!! (Lol my fangirl impression) Seriously though...this is the best news I've had in a long time. As an avid owner and player of all the games in the series...this...is...awsome.
As much I love the Ace Attorney series (which is a hell of a lot, I play them constantly ), I don't see why I should buy it again on the App Store when I can play them on my DS
Wow, for such a huge game this thread really went nowhere... Either way, this better go to the US. I'm giving up Dragon's Lair to get this, and I love DL. Anyone have a definite whether this is hitting the states or not?
