Yup lol. But I don't think it can die. You can pick up items such as chairs and books and throw it at the monster. Chairs work best though. Books really don't seem to affect it much although it may depend on where you hit it. Not sure. But yes, you can attack the monster by picking up items and throwing them at it.

I think only certain items you can pick up though, not sure. I just got past the second level.

Edit: I played it some more and i guess it's kinda like Slender but the main differences are:

- you can attack the monster by picking up items and throwing it at the monster

- Instead of just tapping on a note like slender, in this game you have to pick up an item, place it in a bin, might have to break a barrior, and then find the exit

- There are wodden barriors you may need to break

-the monster only disappears when you hit it

- has both touch and gyro controls

I think it was worth the .99 but that's my opinion. Others might disagree.

Hey Guys,

I'm one of the two developers of this game.
Right now the apartment building is the only environment.
For our release we focused on the style and mechanics.
There is a back story that we are crafting but it felt like it would get in the way and be to tacked on if we tried to fit in in for launch.

We want to keep making scary games or grow this one into something bigger.

It is slightly Slender inspired but it's also Pac-Man and Amnesia inspired.

The monster never disappears forever. The more hits it takes to make him vanish the longer he stays away. The number of hits it takes to make him vanish is a little random to keep it interesting.

I'm intrigued, I can't see the video right now, but is it a point and click style or more "infinity blade" style?
It's more of a dual stick 1st person game.

I like to think of the monster as the crazy homeless guy who's stuff you're trying to steal.

Thank you

Seems like the same level over and over though. Hopefully there are more levels

It's not a bad game, I just wish there were more levels.

I just stood up and used the gyroscope controls and it was pretty fun.
Thanks. We're a very small team and are hoping to add more environments in the future.

Keep up the great work!

I rated the game 5/5 on the App Store as soon as I got it.

So far I'm enjoying it. The goals can feel weird and out of place for a horror game though. If it were explained within the context of the game world, like "you're collecting books to learn about this monster" or something, then that would be cool. Maybe get a bit of lore with each book.

Just right now they seem arbitrary and silly. Like "Hold on scary dude, lemme get these books, then I'll run and be scared."

It does set up a nice atmosphere though. Monster is genuinely creepy looking, and having the short draw distance builds up tension like in old silent hill games.

All in all it's a pretty solid game. Can't wait to see what you guys do in future updates and how the lore is explained.
