True, but they still handle it better than Gamevil. Gameloft mixes pay and F2P models pretty well now as a whole. Just about every Gamevil game i see is insane with its F2P model that all become unplayable. Makes me wonder who their market it is and how sustainable they are. If they keep pumping out games it must be working. Still a shame though...

Without commenting on the quite possibly abysmal freemium implementation, the combat experience could actually have been quite fun, if there had been more to the mechanics than button-mashing, activating abilities and some very light evasion elements. Battles are animated nicely enough, with a very fluid and kinetic feel, and with less horde-bashing (in favour of fewer enemies with more varied attack patterns and behaviour), and a greater focus on precision and reflexes, this could have been a go-to for accessible but fun combat for me.
