Hard to believe. Could you please add the source of the news ? I can't find any of them yet.

If I could read that I would confirm if it's true or not... Anyway, it looks to be real? :)

15-year-old-plus overpriced ports from Square-Enix? No thank you. I'll pass. I know Gameloft games are not without their flaws, but how SE can justify selling this for significantly more than a brand new Gameloft game is beyond me. You know they'd sell this for 7.99, minimum, and likely even more than that. It's not just a iOS deal either. SE has been porting arcaic games to all gaming platforms, specifically handheld systems, and ridiculously overcharging for them for years now.

Personally, I welcome these old SE classics. I am a big Final Fantasy fan and I know they are old but playing them on IOS breaths such new life into the series.

They work very well on the touch screen and at £7.99 or even £10.99 that is much cheaper than going out and buying a new Nintendo DS title (which is also where these SE games end up).

Plus, I dont own a PS1 or Snes/Famicom so I cannot re-live my retro days on the original consoles.

Keep the ports coming. I skipped over The Final Fantasy games back in the day, am loving them now on the touchscreen.

Nothin wrong with reviving some old classic ORIGINAL games. The prices may be high, but that's quality gameplay for your bucks. When has Gameloft ever had an original idea of their own for iOS?
