So do any of the countless clones actually improve on the game?

It's not on IOS (yet) but Cavanagh's Maverick Bird is by far the best. It just feels perfectly tuned, adds an extra mechanic that mixes up the whole gameplay flow, and has all kinds of unique obstacle patterns. Plus the same awesome music and pulsing visuals that made Super Hexagon great

And Flappybalt, which Frost is porting, is a great twist of the core mechanic that feels fun, paying homage to the original game without feeling like yet another clone

Here's another browser Flappy-like worth playing: Perihelion
Although it's probably more similar to Atomic than Flappy. Current visuals are placeholder, here's a mock-up of the final style

someone should just do an almost exact clone and make a boat load of $! I think the game is pure crap! thinking most that like it are bored no-money housewives that also are hooked on the crappy candy crush Junk because they like to eat and think a free game is the funnest thing ever.

I was just going to say to you guys he's thinking of bringing it back.

Well he said "considering". But then he did also say he was considering suicide but he never done that so don't hold your breath lol

I hope he doesnt and the game dies down only to be put into the "hey did you remember that flappy bird game back in 2014" box.

Seriously. Flap away please.

PS. Anyone remember Angry Birds? Lol
