Hi, I'm the developer of Hypership Out of Control and Hypership Still Out of Control. Thanks everyone for checking out the game and for your honest opinions. Feel free to say anything else you want to me or ask me any questions. I wanted to clear up a few things here based on the feedback so far.

1. I had no idea the black bars thing was an issue. I do my testing on an older iOS device which doesn't have the issue and this is the first I've heard complaints about the black bars. I guess maybe because the first Hypership was released pre-iPhone 5, people understood more that it had them but now it's more of a problem. I will try and see if there is something I can do about this. Thanks for bringing it up.

2. I named it Hypership Still Out of Control because it really is more of the same. If you liked the first game and want some new levels, this is the game for you. It's not Hypership 2 though. That's a game I am working on (latest video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kauG-miubMc) but I need more funding to complete it and much more time. HSSOoC is hopefully something to keep people entertained while I complete work on the much more ambitious Hypership 2.

As for your comment on the previous page about randomized levels, I don't want to do that with Hypership because I think part of what makes Hypership fun is learning the levels. That said, I have thought about a similar concept (possibly with boats) using randomly generated levels instead. So in a way, you may get your wish

Just a heads up, I'd started looking into this issue and how to best resolve it when Apple changed their policies to require developers must use XCode5 or newer. Unfortunately the Mac I develop on, which works perfectly fine for development, has an older processor and literally cannot be upgrade with anything newer than XCode 4. I'd like to do more iOS work but at this point I can't release anything until I purchase new hardware, an expense I wasn't really planning on, so that's gonna delay any changes I was working on for this version of the game.
