Just noticed that this app got a significant price decrease. This is the japanese app but there's an unofficial translation patch that can be installed very easily, even on non-jailbroken idevices. I tried it on the lite version and it worked perfectly without crashes My only issue is that Steins's gate got an official english release last march. I contacted the publisher (jast usa) and they told me that they are working on an ios port. I am really hesitating what to do. Buy this one or wait for the official app in english...
The choice is obvious isn't it? Wait for the price to rise back up again, buy it and support the developer. When the English version comes out. Buy it again for yourself and 30 more English copies. Give the other copies away to Toucharcade users. Remember to reserve a code for me, thanks

There are several ending based on your actions and who you choose. I would say it would much like the difference with Fate/Stay with its H scenes (not sure of Steins;Gate but it is more suggestive than the anime). failgunner New Member Aug 13, 2014 2 0 1 #10 failgunner, Aug 13, 2014 How did you patch it on a non jailbroken device? Get a file manager software for idevices such as iexplorer, iphone explorer or ifunbox (i use the latter). Then, get the english translation patch from here (second link is better, disregard the instructions about having a jailbroken idevice): http://tsuuun.blogspot.gr http://i-vntp.blogspot.de/p/since-2009-steins-gate-series-has-sold.html Finally, take the files from the rar file and drop them within the app, using the file manager. For 20 bucks, you get both (that's still less than the original price). And personally, the ipad is better for such type of games. I don't like to read small text on my iphone. failgunner New Member Aug 13, 2014 2 0 1 #15 failgunner, Aug 14, 2014 Which folder did you copy them into? Moreover, the price is probably gonna be 30 bucks. You can get a functional app for 10 bucks, so why pass on this? I am giving myself another couple if days to think about this but I will probably buy the jap version and simply use the translation patch. pouffie Well-Known Member Aug 4, 2013 189 0 16 #20 pouffie, Aug 15, 2014 Ok, I downloaded the lite version and tried to apply the patch. Couldn't make it work this time for some reason. Guess it's better to wait for the official english release. Less hassle involved. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
